Prevention
In view of need of use of the special equipment for exact check and adjustment of pressure of brake fluid after installation (or connections) the valve, performance of this work is recommended to entrust experts. The description of operations of removal and installation of the valve is provided if you need extremely to perform this work. However, upon completion of installation of the valve, it is necessary to address experts for exact check and adjustment of pressure of brake fluid.
If pressure of brake fluid is not checked and correctly adjusted, efficiency of brakes can be significantly reduced.
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Install the car on a viewing hole or lift it on the elevator. The car can also be installed on a platform, however, it is necessary to remember that the car has to stand on the wheels horizontally. |
2. To reduce loss of brake fluid, remove a cap of a tank of the main cylinder and put on a polyethylene film a tank mouth. Fix a film by means of an elastic band so that under a film air did not get. |
3. Turn off connections on the ends of brake tubes where they enter the valve of restriction of pressure. Not to break a side of connections, use a cap wrench at their untwisting. |
4. Disconnect brake tubes from the valve and close their ends for prevention of hit in dirt or moisture. |
5. Turn off a lock-nut, an adjusting nut and remove a fixing arm of a spring from a suspension bracket cross-piece. |
6. Turn off three bolts and remove the valve together with a fixing arm. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Install the valve and twirl three bolts. |
|
2. Establish a fixing arm of a spring and temporarily twirl a lock-nut under an adjusting nut. Rotate an adjusting nut and a lock-nut for installation of initial length A springs, about 41/8 inches (101,6–3,175 mm). Tighten a lock-nut, holding an adjusting nut. |
3. Connect brake tubes and pump over the brake system (see subsection 9.12). |
4. Lower the car on the earth and address experts for check and adjustment of pressure of brake fluid. |
