GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

It is necessary to wear goggles when pumping the brake system. If brake fluid gets to you into eyes, immediately wash out them water, and see a doctor.

Pumping

Pumping of the brake system needs to be carried out to remove from it all air which could get to system at removal and installation of hoses, tubes, a support or the main cylinder.

If air got to the brake system because of excessive lowering of the level of brake fluid in a tank or detachments of brake tubes from the main cylinder, you will probably need to pump over all four brakes.

If the brake hose or a tube were disconnected only on one wheel, then it is necessary to pump over only a support or the working cylinder of this wheel.

If the brake hose was disconnected in the junction located between the main cylinder and any of brakes it is necessary to pump over that brake to which there was this hose.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove residual vacuum from the vacuum amplifier, having several times pressed a brake pedal at the switched-off engine.
2. Remove a cap from a tank of the main cylinder and fill a tank with brake fluid. Establish a cap into place.
Prevention

Constantly you watch the level of brake fluid in a tank when pumping brakes and add brake fluid if it is necessary in order that air did not get to the main cylinder.

3. You will need the assistant, and also a stock is fresher than brake fluid, the pure plastic container which is partially filled with brake fluid, a rubber or plastic tube with a diameter about 4,76 mm for installation on the valve of production of air and a wrench to open and close the valve.
4. Pumping of the brake system needs to be begun with the back wheel located on the opposite side from the main cylinder. Turn off the valve of production of air a little, and then twirl it so that it densely closed an opening, but it can easily be turned off.
5. Put on one end of a tube the valve of production of air and lower the second end of a tube in a container with brake fluid. The coming-out air will be noticeable by bubbles in a tube and in bank. Before passing to other wheel, it is necessary to remove all air from pormozny system of this wheel.
6. Ask the assistant to squeeze out slowly a brake pedal several times for creation of pressure in system, and then to detain her in the squeezed-out situation.
7. When the pedal of a brake is squeezed out, open the valve of production of air so that brake fluid began to flow on a hose. You watch the bubbles leaving the end of the hose shipped in brake fluid. When the stream of brake fluid stops several seconds later, close the valve and ask the assistant to release a brake pedal.
8. Repeat points 6 and 7 until brake fluid, free from vials of air does not follow from a hose. After that, twirl the valve of production of air and start pumping of a brake on diagonalno opposite forward wheel, then the second back wheel and finish with pumping of a brake of the remained forward wheel. Do not forget to check often the level of brake fluid in a tank of the main cylinder.
9. Never use old brake fluid. It contains moisture which leads to corrosion of elements of the brake system.
10. Fill a tank of the main cylinder with brake fluid upon completion of pumping.
11. Check work of brakes. The pedal becomes have to rigid when pressing and not give in. If it is necessary, repeat all operation on pumping of the brake system.

Prevention

You do not go by the car if you doubt a condition of the brake system.
