At a low temperature the capacity of the battery goes down. Therefore for launch of the engine in winter conditions the battery has to be completely loaded and serviceable.

Make sure that viscosity of oil in the engine corresponds to an operation season.

Application of summer brands of oil with the increased viscosity complicates launch of the engine. Consult in service of car service concerning the choice of brand of oil for a winter season.

Take measures against frosting of locks of doors. For this purpose dig to wells special means against frosting of locks or glycerin. Before unlocking of a door heat a key.

In a tank of windscreen washer fill in the liquid containing special antifreeze. It is not allowed to use for washing of glasses antifreeze from the cooling system of the engine which destroys coloring of a body.

At frosts do not put the car on the emergency brake.

At the parking include the first transfer or you transfer the lever to situation P (on automatic transmission). When freezing of the got moisture the mechanism of the emergency brake can not release a wheel.

Do not allow a congestion under wings of snow and ice which complicate turn of wheels. When driving in snow weather occasionally stop and check a snow congestion under wings.

When driving it is under trying conditions recommended to carry with itself certain accessories in the winter: chains, a shovel for snow, a sack with sand or salt, alarm rockets, starting cables, etc.
