10.2. Rack of a suspension bracket (lobby)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn off nuts of fastening of a wheel, lift the car and establish it on support. Remove a wheel.
2. Turn off bolts of fastening of an arm of a brake hose to a rack
suspension brackets. If on the car the ABS system is installed, remove a plait of wires of the sensor of speed from a rack, having turned off a bolt of fastening of an arm.
3. Turn off two nuts of fastening (are specified by an arrow) are resistant to a rotary fist and beat out bolts by means of the hammer and a punch.
4. Remove a rack from a rotary fist. You watch to stretching the internal CV JOINT of a half shaft. Also, you watch that the rotary fist did not overturn outside and did not hang on a brake hose.
5. Holding one hand a suspension bracket rack with a spring, turn off nuts of the top fastening of a rack to a body (are specified by shooters). Remove a rack with a spring from under a car wing.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a rack for existence of leak of liquid from the shock-absorber, for existence of dents, cracks or other damages which demand replacement of a rack.
2. Check a spring for existence of cracks or the broken-away pieces on a spring covering, (it will lead to a premature exit of a spring out of operation because of corrosion). Examine a spring nest on existence of cuts, consolidations or other damages and wear tracks.
3. If there are any damages or wear tracks, pass to the section describing dismantling of a rack (see subsection 10.3).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a suspension bracket rack under the aegis of the car and insert bolts of the top fastening into openings in a body. Acquire nuts. It is the best of all to perform this work together as a rack rather heavy and big.
2. Establish a rotary fist on flanges of a rack and insert two fixing bolts. Put the clamps till the required inhaling moment (see subsection 10.1).
3. Establish an arm of a brake hose on a rack of a suspension bracket and reliably twirl a fixing bolt. If on the car the ABS system is installed, establish a fixing arm of wires of the sensor of speed of rotation of a wheel.
4. Establish a wheel and acquire nuts of fastening of a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten nuts till the required inhaling moment (see subsection 10.1).
5. Tighten nuts of the top fastening of a rack of a suspension bracket till the required inhaling moment (see subsection 10.1).
6. Address to auto repair shop for check and if it is necessary, implementation of adjustment of forward wheels.
