Prevention
The asbestos dust forming as a result of wear frictional swore at couplings, and postponing on coupling elements, is hazardous to health – do not inhale it.
Removal and check
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator. |
Prevention
If the stereoplayer of your car has system of the coding, check whether you know a code of activation of the player before an accumulator detachment.

| 2. Remove the transmission (see subsection 7.1.5 and subsection 7.2.8). |
|
|
3. Remove a fork of switching off of coupling from an axis with a spherical head, then remove the release bearing from a fork. |
|
|
4. Take the bearing for an external path of swing and rotate an internal holder, having pressured her. If the bearing does not rotate easily or works with noise, replace it. Wipe the bearing a pure rag and examine it on existence of damages, cracks or wear tracks. |
| 5. Do not immerse the bearing in solvent – for its sealing sealant was used and if to lower the bearing in solvent, sealant will be dissolved, and the bearing will fail. Also, check a fork of switching off of coupling for existence of cracks and deformation. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
|
1. Fill an internal flute of the release bearing with high-temperature lubricant. Also, apply a thin film of the same lubricant on vents of an entrance shaft of the transmission and an installation site of the bearing. |

2. Grease a nest of a fork of switching off of coupling in which the spherical head of an axis of a fork, the ends of a fork and the end of a rod of the working cylinder is established by high-temperature lubricant. |
| 3. Install the release bearing in a coupling switching off fork nest. |
| 4. Put on the release bearing an entrance shaft of the transmission, having inserted a fork of switching off of coupling into a coupling case opening. Establish a fork on an axis with a spherical head. |
| 5. Apply a thin film of high-temperature lubricant on the surface of the release bearing in that place where it concerns plates of a diaphragm spring of a press disk. |
| 6. Further installation is carried out upside-down removals. |
