| 1. The block of the fan is located in salon, over the right niche for legs. If the fan does not turn on, then check reliability and purity of all connections, and also serviceability of a safety lock. Make sure that the battery is completely charged. |
| 2. Remove a slip, a door of a glove box and the right lower panel (see subsection 1.5.44). |
| 3. If the fan electric motor does not work, then disconnect the socket from the electric motor, turn the ignition key in position of ON (not to start the engine) and check whether there is tension on contact of a black wire when the switch of the fan is in position of ON. If tension is absent, then the power-supply circuit of system of ignition is faulty. |
| 4. If tension from the battery is, then connect the socket to the fan and concern a black-and-white wire (from a reverse side of the socket) the crossing point connected to weight. If the electric motor is not started, then probable malfunction of the electric motor is a cause of failure. |

5. Disconnect the socket (it is specified by an arrow). Connect electric motor conclusions through a fusible insert to the battery and with a weight. If the electric motor is not started, then replace the electric motor. |
| 6. If the electric motor is serviceable, but does not work at any speed of rotation, then the switch on the control panel of the heater / conditioner is faulty. Remove the control panel (see subsection 11.25) and check integrity of a chain of the switch at each position of the switch. |

7. If the electric motor works only at great speed rotations, then check serviceability of the block of additional resistors of the electric motor of the fan which is located under the dashboard from the passenger's seat. The place of installation of the block of resistors of the electric motor of the fan is specified by an arrow. Fastens two screws. |
