| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. Merge liquid in a vessel (see subsection 2.8.4). |
| 3. Disconnect the top and lower hoses of a radiator. |
| 4. Disconnect a tank hose from a jellied mouth of a radiator. |
| 5. Remove the fan. |

6. On the cars equipped with automatic transmission disconnect from a radiator of the union of tubes of a supply of liquid to a transmission cooler. Substitute the pallet for collecting the spilled liquid, muffle the union. |

7. Remove two top arms of fastening of a radiator. |
Prevention
In the lower part the radiator is established on two probes on which rubber plugs are dressed. Probes densely come into body openings.

8. Remove a radiator, having lifted it up. Do not lose at the same time rubber plugs which have to be on the place before installation of a radiator. Be careful of the spilled liquid and sharp edges of a radiator. |
| 9. Check existence of leaks from a radiator, mechanical damages, purity of internal channels. In need of repair address in a specialized workshop, or to service of car service of the dealer as use of the special equipment and technologies will be necessary. |
| 10. Remove insects and dirt from intercostal radiator spaces, having blown it compressed air and having cleared a soft brush. When cleaning do not bend radiator fins. |
| 11. The radiator upside-down is established. Be convinced available rubber plugs on assembly probes of a radiator. |
| 12. After installation of a radiator fill the cooling system with liquid with the necessary ratio of water and antifreeze. |
| 13. Start the engine and watch formation of leaks from all broken demountable connections. Warm up the engine up to the working temperature, being guided on heating of both hoses of a radiator. Again check the level of cooling liquid, if necessary restore. |
| 14. On the cars equipped with automatic transmission check the level of transmission liquid, if necessary restore. |
