3.1.2.15. Engine assembly order

GENERAL INFORMATION

Before assembly prepare all necessary new spare parts, laying and consolidations, and also the following tools and devices:

 – standard tool kit;
 – a dynamometer key with a head 1/2;
 – device for installation of piston rings;
 – a mandrel for sinking of piston rings;
 – pieces of rubber or plastic hoses for clothing on rod cover bolts;
 – plastic calibration wire of "Plastigauge";
 – set of probes;
 – file;
 – fresh oil for the engine;
 – assembly lubricant or lubricant on the basis of a molybdenum disulfide;
 – sealant;
 – a compound for fixing of threaded connections.

To save time and labor costs, assembly is recommended to be carried out in the following order.

 – piston rings (see subsection 3.1.2.16);
 – a bent shaft and radical bearings (see subsection 3.1.2.17);
 – pistons assembled with rods (see subsection 3.1.2.19);
 – a back epiploon of the crankshaft (see subsection 3.1.2.18);
 – a head of cylinders and pushers (see subsection 3.1.1.11 and subsection 3.1.1.9);
 – cam-shafts (see subsection 3.1.1.9);
 – the oil pump (see subsection 3.1.1.13);
 – a gear belt and gear wheels of a belt, a cover of a gear belt (see subsection 3.1.1.6);
 – an oil receiver (see subsection 3.1.1.12);
 – the oil pallet see subsection 3.1.1.12);
 – the soaking-up and final collectors (see subsection 3.1.1.4 and subsection 3.1.1.5);
 – a cover of a head of the block of cylinders (see subsection 3.1.1.3);
 – a flywheel (a drive plate of the hydrotransformer) (see subsection 3.1.1.14);
