Check of technical condition

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Wash out a bent shaft solvent and dry a stream of compressed air (in the presence).
2. Check uniformity of wear of radical and conrod necks, existence on them of zadir, cracks or a local erosion.
3. Remove from oil openings all agnails by means of a grinding stone, a rigid brush or a file.
4. Clean oil channels a rigid brush and wash out a strong stream of solvent.
5. Check for existence on other parts of the crankshaft of cracks and mechanical damages. For identification of the latent defects the crankshaft is recommended to be handed over in a workshop of car service.
6. Measure by a micrometer diameter of radical and conrod necks, compare result to standard value. Check ovality of radical and conrod necks of a shaft, having measured their diameter in several points on a circle. Check conicity of necks for what measure diameter of a neck in places about shaft counterbalances, and compare results.
7. It is also necessary to check a crankshaft beating though prisms of the big size will be necessary for this measurement. In the absence of the necessary equipment, the beating can be checked in auto repair shops.
8. In the presence of damages on shaft necks and also if ovality, conicity and wear of necks exceed the set limits, the shaft should be handed over on regrinding in a specialized workshop. After repair of a shaft, it is necessary to replace radical and conrod bearings repair.
9. Check existence of signs of wear and damages on necks under forward and back epiploons. If on a neck the deep flute of development from a working edge of an epiploon was formed, there are scratches or other damages, then the new epiploon will not condense a neck. In certain cases the shaft can be repaired by a napressovka of the thin plug on the condensed neck for what it is necessary to address in a workshop. If repair is impracticable, then the crankshaft should be replaced new or restored.
