Some features of installation of a wheel can differ depending on car model. For example, locations of a spare wheel and a jack on cars of various models differ. However the general order of works is identical to all cars.
Preparation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. At a wheel puncture immediately stop the car, considering traffic conditions. |
| 2. Install the car on a plain firm surface on sufficient removal from a lane. |
| 3. If necessary include a signal of an emergency stop. |
| 4. If you have a sign of an emergency stop, then establish it for the prevention of other drivers. |
| 5. Put the car on the emergency brake and turn on the first or reverse gear (situation Park in cars with an automatic tranmissiya). |
| 6. Block a wheel diagonalno opposite replaced, – two big stones for this purpose will approach. |
| 7. If the soil soft, then in order to avoid immersion of a jack substitute under it a board. |

Replacement
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. Remove the decorative panel from the inside of the luggage compartment and remove a jack. |
|
2. Lift a cover of a trunk floor and turn off the holder of a spare wheel. Get a spare wheel, a bag with tools and a key for nuts of wheels. Substitute the blocks which are included in the package of tools under a wheel diagonalno opposite to replaced. |

3. Take off a decorative cap of a wheel by means of the shovel which is included in the package of tools. Then a wheel key weaken half way nuts of fastening of the replaced wheel. |
|
4. Establish a jack on the firm soil under the strengthened body threshold section (lift the car, establish a jack only under this place) |
|
5. Rotate the jack handle clockwise until the wheel is not raised above the ground, turn off nuts of fastening of a wheel and remove a wheel. |
|
6. Establish a spare wheel, turn and tighten fastening nuts. Lower the car and improve fastening nuts in the specified sequence. |
| 7. Establish a decorative cap. |
| 8. Remove from under a block wheel. |
| 9. Put a jack and tools in a luggage carrier, observing correctness of placement. Check pressure in the tire of the established wheel. If pressure low, or you have no manometer, then moving at a small speed, reach the next garage and pump up the tire up to the normal pressure. |
| 10. Immediately take the damaged wheel (or the tire) to repare. |
