3.2.15.1. Removal and installation of the water pump

GENERAL INFORMATION

The water pump – removal and installation

1. Right bracket of an engine mount
2. Top cover of a gear belt
3. Driving gear wheel of the fuel pump of high pressure
4. Water pump

5. Laying
6. Fuel pump of high pressure
7. Pulley of a bent shaft
8. Lower cover of a gear belt
9. Gear belt

Besides a gear belt, it is necessary to remove also fuel pump of high pressure to provide access to the water pump.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To merge liquid from the cooling system.

2. Remove the fuel pump of high pressure as it is described in subsection 3.2.20.

3. Remove an average cover of a gear belt.

4. Unscrew the water pump. It fastens on seven bolts. Pay attention to an arrangement of bolts as they have various length. Remove laying.

5. Installation is made upside-down. Surely establish new laying. Tighten bolts m 18 N.' moment.

6. The fuel pump and a gear belt are installed as it is described in subsection 3.2.20 and subsection 3.2.2. Adjust a tension of a maple belt of the generator and fill in liquid in the cooling system.
