The system a cruise control (if it is established) supports the constant speed of the car by means of an electronic control unit (computer) installed in salon and the drive located near the accumulator in a motive compartment. The drive is connected to the connecting mechanism of a butterfly valve by means of a rope or draft. Besides the drive, the system turns on the switch of brakes, the coupling switch, the operating switches, the relay or connecting wires.

| PERFORMANCE ORDER
| 1. Check a safety lock (see subsection 12.1).
|2. Ask the assistant to press a brake pedal, and check their work and work of system. Turning on of the switch of headlights of a stoplight and if it is established, the switch on a coupling pedal, deactivates system a cruise control.

|5. Systems a cruise control use many various devices for determination of speed of the car. On these models the sensor of speed is located in the transmission. Turn off a bolt and get the sensor (see subsection 7.2.3), scroll its castor and check sensor signals by means of the digital voltmeter at its rotation. If resistance does not change at rotation of the sensor, it means it is faulty.
|6. Pass on the car for check of system a cruise control. If it does not work, address experts for further diagnostics and repair.
